Personal loan lender HDFC Bank receives Celent Model Bank 2010 award

Leading personal loan lender, HDFC Bank has received Celent Model Bank 2010 award. This was announced by Nucleus Software. The bank received this award for its loan origination system.
Celent had held the survey to reply to the question, “What would it look like for a bank to do everything right with today’s technology?” Celent stated in its Model Bank report that, “While there is no such thing as a “Model Bank”-every bank does some things well, and others not as well when it comes to technology”.
HDFC Bank has been utilizing FinOne, from Nucleus for quite a long time. Prior to implementing the software entire loan processing actions were done manually which took longer for the process to get over and raised the prospects of human mistake.
