Central Bank of India introduces prepaid cards

Central Bank of India, which are the official bankers of Commonwealth games 2010, have launched pre paid cards meant for the players participating in the games and delegates for the current customers of the bank.

 

Central Bank of India stated, “The bank is on the threshold of entering its centenary year. As a befitting gesture, the bank has been chosen as the exclusive official banking partner of Commonwealth Games, 2010. The bank is planning to roll out a series of niche products for its endearing customers during this centenary year”.

 

The bank would also launch Titanium Combi Debit Card. This card would give pin and signature feature in one single card. S Sridhar, CMD of the bank, said “innovating and pioneering tailor-made banking products to suit each and every need of customers is a thrusted approach of the Bank.”

 

He said the bank intends to launch equivalent products in its centenary year. MasterCard is its favorite card partner.

 

T.V. Seshadri, VP and Country GM, MasterCard South Asia said, “This gives us the opportunity to launch innovative products, enable efficient transaction processing and offer significant value to Central Bank of India’s customer base”.
