State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur was established in 1963, after amalgamation of the erstwhile State Bank of Jaipur (established in 1943) with State Bank of Bikaner (established in 1944), as a subsidiary of State Bank of India.
The Bank’s main area of operation is in the State of Rajasthan, with a presence at all important centers in the country. The Bank has 860 branches and 495 ATMs spread over the country. The bank has fully migrated all branches to Core Banking Solution and was among the first few banks in India to offer online banking facility across the country.
Recently, the Bank has rolled out Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives to improve operational efficiency and provide better customer service. The Bank has been earning profit since its inception and as of at the end of March, 2009, its business has crossed the level of Rs 69,000 crore with a net profit of Rs. 403.45 crore.
The bank offers home loans under multiple schemes such as SBBH Home Loan, Happy- Home Loan, Easy Home Loan etc. It also offers SBBJ Car Loan, SBBJ Reverse Mortgage Loan etc. The bank also offers debit/ credit cards.
